About Ananya
Hi, I’m Ananya! I recently completed my A-Levels, achieving an A* in AQA Psychology, with A* grades consistently throughout both years. Psychology has always been one of my favourite subjects, and I love helping others discover how interesting it can be.
Because I sat my exams so recently, I understand the current AQA specification inside out and know exactly what it takes to reach the top grades. I also remember how stressful A-Levels can feel, so I aim to make every lesson supportive, encouraging and pressure-free.
I’m organised, reliable and committed to helping each student make real progress. I prepare for every session in advance, turn up on time, and adapt my approach to suit how you learn best. My goal is for you to leave each lesson feeling more confident and better prepared for your exams.
I’m currently on a gap year, which means I have flexible availability and can dedicate my full attention to my students.

My lessons focus on what makes the biggest difference in AQA A-Level Psychology: exam technique. Knowing the content is only half the battle, because top grades come from knowing how to use it. I studied the AQA specification and achieved A* grades throughout both years, including my final grade, and I’ll share the strategies that worked for me.
In each lesson, I’ll show you how to read questions carefully, work out what they’re really asking, and plan your answers under time pressure. We’ll practise everything from 2-mark questions to 16-mark essays, learning how to balance AO1 description, AO2 application and AO3 evaluation. By working through past paper questions together, you’ll see exactly where marks are gained and lost.
Our first lesson is about understanding your strengths, weaknesses and goals, so I can tailor future sessions to you. Lessons are online and usually last one hour, with 30-minute sessions available for focused exam practice.
Having only recently finished my A-Levels, I know what it’s like to be in your position, and what AQA examiners are looking for right now. My lessons are for Year 12 and 13 students studying AQA A-Level Psychology, whether you’re aiming to boost a grade or push for an A*.
