About Blaine
I'm a recent physics graduate looking for part-time tutoring work. I have experience with calculus up to Partial Differential Equations and any algebra or arithmetic before that. I also did tutoring for about a year while in school. One of my students saw a 20% increase in test scores, and others did much better on homework assignments without me just giving them answers.

I prefer giving lessons to people studying subjects I have experienced more recently, like calculus or Newtonian physics. However, I will happily help with any earlier studies and provide insight into later ones if I can.
My primary teaching method is adapted from what my professors used, which is a more hands-off approach. The goal is to help the student learn the material, not just provide the answers. So I mostly keep an eye on their work and interject where I see it necessary, and stay totally available for questions.
