About Chad
I'm a certified English teacher who loves traveling and practicing photographer. I'm a native English speaker and born on a small tropical island. I have a passion for different cultures and have been studying teaching English to foreign learners for almost a year now. I've also served as an assistant English teacher. I chose teaching English because I love making new friends and have the ability to create a really pleasant learning experience for students.

I utalize the ESA (engage, study and activate) methodology. In a regular ESA lesson I begin by getting students thinking and speaking in the language. We then enter the study phase where pre-prepared activities based on the engage phase are then considered and we finally end with an activate phase. My main goals during the lesson is to create as much opportunity for the student to interact with the language. I achieve this by creating a positive environment that is interesting, informative, comfortable, conducive to learning, relevant, and encourages self-motivated student participation.
