About Loren
I am a retired New York City Middle School math and science teacher. I am licensed in grades K through 6. I have taught all subjects during my career; however, nothing excites me more than mathematics. The energy and positivity that I bring to my students is contagious. I make learning fun. I try to break math skills down to make them simple.

Many times students struggle in math because they do not understand the basic fundamentals. I start by giving my student an assessment to evaluate their needs. Lessons are designed to meet and strengthen those needs. I cater to your learning style. Using real-life scenarios, manipulatives, mnemonic devices, and creativity, it is my goal to fully help you understand the skill.
