It is important to find out what skills students have already mastered, and build upon those skills to ensure a firm foundation of learning. Each lesson starts with a quick review of previously learned skills, an introduction to the new skills, and guided practice with the new skill. Students are then given an opportunity to independently practice the skill until we meet again.
