I'm a rising senior at Stanford University studying psychology and philosophy. I apply basic psychological principles to my pedagogy all the time to optimize the learning experience of students (e.g., using a growth mindset framework with my learners). My focus is always on getting to know the learning style of the student I'm working with while also building rapport with them. Tutoring sessions are light and fun; I make sure to bring positive energy to every meeting so as to make the learning process fun and engaging. I build personalized lesson plans for each student depending on their needs.
