About Ivan

Welcome! I’m a 20-year-old polyglot and native Russian speaker, passionate about languages and teaching. Russian is my mother tongue, and I’ve dedicated my life to learning and mastering foreign languages. I speak Ukrainian, English (C1), German (B2), and I’m currently learning Serbian (A1-A2). This experience gives me a deep understanding of the challenges language learners face, and I know exactly how to help you overcome them. Teaching is more than just a job for me — it’s my passion. I’m patient, professional, and committed to creating lessons tailored specifically to your needs and goals. Whether you’re starting from zero or looking to improve your advanced skills, I’ll guide you step-by-step with clear explanations, real conversation practice, and engaging activities. With me, you’ll not only learn the language — you’ll gain confidence and enjoy the journey.

About the lesson

I focus on teaching real, practical Russian that you can use in everyday conversations and real-life situations. While I make sure you get a solid grasp of grammar, I don’t let it slow us down — grammar is important, but only as a tool to help you communicate naturally and confidently.

Whether you’re starting completely from zero or you’re already an advanced student looking to polish your skills, I tailor the lessons to fit your level and goals. I’m experienced at guiding absolute beginners through the basics step-by-step, building a strong foundation. At the same time, I can support advanced learners in refining their speaking, listening, writing, and comprehension.

In our lessons, we focus on talking, listening, and writing — practicing all the key skills to help you become fluent. I encourage active conversation and real practice, so you don’t just learn Russian, you live it.

I’ve been rapping in English for years and wanted to start experimenting with Russian. Ivan helped me understand the language on a whole different level — especially how the words carry emotion, rhythm, and power. He’s not just a teacher, he’s an artist. If you care about language as expression, Ivan’s your guy.

I started learning Russian from scratch with Ivan, and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. He explains things so clearly, and he always knows exactly when to slow down or push me forward. What I love most is that he doesn’t just teach words and grammar — he teaches the soul of the language. Every lesson feels like a deep dive into culture, mindset, and real Russian life. Highly recommend
