About Sara
My name is Sara Renae Holloway and I am a mentor, teacher, mother, artist, curator and owner of Mind’s Eye Art Studio & Gallery in Lakeview. My mission is one of individual attention and inclusive art education. I have been teaching in Chicago for over 20 years and my main goal as an educator has always been to create a supportive environment where students of all ages can feel inspired regardless of their particular skill-level or experience.
For me, art is not just about simply learning how to draw or paint but is always intrinsically connected to taking chances and trusting oneself to experiment while making "mistakes" along the way.

In my multi-level art classes, each student will be encouraged to develop their own creative interests and personal art-making process within their chosen medium. The emphasis is on exploration and reflection.
I specialize in painting, drawing, and mixed-media art for all ages and skill levels.
