• At what age did you start practicing this sport? Tell us about this time or moment in your life.

  Uhlala! I started dancing when I was around five years old. My grandmother was a dancer, and she passed down her passion for movement to me. She was the one who ignited my love for it, and I've been dancing ever since!

• What are your favourite sports; those that you practice at a high level, a simple hobby, and a sport that you'd still like to discover?

  I like to think of this question more in terms of dancing rather than sports. I'm not exactly an athlete in the traditional sense-I've tried swimming, running, and a few other things-but dance is my true passion. I love almost every style of dance! Salsa, reggaeton, African dance, contemporary, belly dance, burlesque... you name it, I enjoy it. If I had to pick a favorite, belly dance holds a special place in my heart. After years of practicing more classical styles, it helped me break free and find my own rhythm. But honestly, I'm absolutely in love with freestyle dancing, where you can feel the music and express your emotions through movement.

• What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue this craft?

  If I don't dance, I get pretty grumpy, so just being in a good mindset is enough to keep me going. But what truly motivates me is seeing the faces and sparkling eyes of my students when they first start to feel the music, beyond just the technique. That moment when they connect with the rhythm-it's magic!

• Do you have an achievement that you're particularly proud of?

  Oh, I have many achievements, but I'm a bit reserved when it comes to sharing them. If I had to choose one, though, I'd say I'm most proud of the relationships I've built over the years. Keeping loyal, open-minded people around me-people who inspire me and give me strength on the tough days-that's an achievement in itself.

• How have your achievements and challenges made you a better athlete?

  For me, dance is not just a physical activity-it's an emotional language. It allows me to express myself, overcome challenges, and celebrate achievements in a way that nothing else can. It's a journey of constant growth, both mentally and physically.

• If you had to go for a jog with a famous athlete, who would you choose? And what questions would you ask them?

  Ooh, this is a tough one! I'd have to say Rachel Brice. I absolutely adore how she transforms when she dances. I'd ask her about her creative process and how she channels her emotions into her performances. Her energy is truly captivating.

• How do you help people stay motivated?

  I focus on celebrating the small victories. Progress often comes in tiny steps, and it's easy to overlook them. But those "baby steps" are what lead to big leaps. I try to highlight every little bit of progress so that, over time, it turns into something bigger. Small steps lead to the ultimate transformation.

• What makes you a Superprof?

  It's the trust and confidence my students have in me. Without them, I wouldn't be able to be the teacher I am today. Their growth is what makes me better, and I'm deeply grateful for it.
