About Saye
Hi! I’m a Computer Science student at Kennesaw State University with three years of experience tutoring students for the SAT and ACT. Over that time, I’ve worked with students in both one-on-one settings and full classrooms, including students with learning disabilities and different learning styles.
I take pride in being patient, dependable, and adaptable. I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on explaining concepts clearly and adjusting my approach based on each student’s needs. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, working through mistakes, and improving at their own pace.
My background in computer science has strengthened my problem-solving and analytical skills, which I bring into my tutoring sessions by breaking difficult problems into clear, manageable steps. I aim to help students not only improve their test scores, but also develop stronger study habits, test-taking strategies, and confidence in their abilities.
Outside of tutoring and school, I enjoy coding, hiking, and playing video games. I’m passionate about learning and enjoy helping students reach their academic goals in a supportive and professional environment.

I work with high school students who are preparing to take or retake the SAT and ACT, with a focus on building both test-taking confidence and a stronger understanding of the material. My teaching style is flexible and personalized, since every student has different strengths, weaknesses, and learning habits.
I typically start by identifying the areas where a student needs the most improvement, whether that is math, reading, grammar, timing, or overall test strategy. From there, I build lessons around targeted practice, step-by-step explanations, and strategies for approaching common SAT and ACT question types. I also make sure students understand why an answer is correct instead of simply memorizing a method.
A typical lesson may include reviewing previous mistakes, working through practice questions together, learning new strategies, and then applying those strategies independently. I also help students with pacing, eliminating incorrect answers, managing test anxiety, and developing a study plan that works for them outside of tutoring sessions.
I have 3 years of experience tutoring SAT and ACT students and have worked in settings ranging from one-on-one tutoring to full classrooms. I also have experience working with students with learning disabilities, which has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and explaining concepts in multiple ways when necessary.
My lessons are best suited for high school students who are preparing for their first SAT or ACT, retaking the exam to improve their score, or simply looking for additional support in specific sections of the test.
