About Iris
I am a third-year Sciences Po Paris student currently studying at the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra. I completed my French Baccalauréat with highest honors and am now studying Political Humanities and International Relations.
I have experience providing one-on-one tutoring and regular homework support to children, including volunteering with an educational support organization in France. I have also worked for three years as a qualified summer camp counselor and in educational programs supporting children from a variety of backgrounds.
These experiences have taught me that every student learns differently. I am patient, encouraging and adaptable, and I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I am a native French speaker, fluent in English (TOEFL iBT 113), First Aid trained and hold a current ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.

My academic support sessions are tailored to each student’s age, needs and learning style. My goal is not simply to help complete homework, but to help students understand what they are learning, become more organized and gradually develop confidence and independence in their schoolwork.
I can help with homework, assignment planning, essay writing, reading comprehension, revision, note-taking, research, oral presentations and general study organization. I am particularly comfortable supporting students in English, French, history, geography, humanities and social sciences.
A typical session lasts around one hour. We can work through current homework and assignments, prepare for upcoming assessments, review concepts the student finds difficult, or develop better study and organization methods.
I have previous experience providing regular one-on-one homework support and tutoring, as well as several years of experience working with children and teenagers through educational programs and summer camps.
My sessions are suitable for primary and secondary school students looking for regular academic support, occasional help with an assignment, or guidance with organization and study skills.
