About Chris

As a Product Owner / Product Manager / Product Director, I've spent the past 12 years researching people and their problems and then conceiving software solutions to those problems. In recent years, I have really enjoyed coaching individuals who are new to Scrum as well as introducing Scrum to forward-thinking companies. I especially love that moment when development teams 'get it' and you see their output value increase by hundreds of per cent. I've also spent time as a Scrum Master and have my PSM from Scrum.org.

I've seen the pitfalls (and fallen down them), taken the knocks and made the mistakes, so you don't have to.

I would love to help;

Individuals (wanting to start a career in product development / software development, especially from a non-tech background).

Individuals (wanting to become a Product Owner/Manager, Scrum Master or to learn Scrum).

Individuals (already in Scrum roles, wanting an unbiased, outside perspective on a situation, feature, product, project or team dynamic issue).

Company Directors (wanting to adopt an Agile way of working e.g. Scrum and needing to discreetly ask all the stupid questions* we all asked when we started out).

Company Directors (wanting a Product mind on their team for short periods at short notice without having to fork out for a permanent hire. With your insight and time, I can add massive value when it comes to making the serious strategic product decisions, especially Product Vision, Product Roadmap, User/Market/Competitor Research and Feature ideas).

Company Directors (wanting a Product mind to work with their chosen developers to tackle a specific problem/opportunity for their users).

Company Directors (wanting a Product mind to lead an ideation or project / feature kick off session and help them bottom out what the hell it is they're going to do).

I am a Dreamer. Reader. Thinker. Realdealist(TM). Problem-solver. Bachelor of Arts. Pain in the ass. Question-asking machine. Not a tech bone in my body, but I understand people, have a vivid imagination and a brain that won't let go of a problem.

*There are no stupid questions.

About the lesson

Informal, laid-back, conversational, fun, ad-hoc or regular online via Teams/Zoom/Hangouts...even Skype (whatever's your poison).

1) Send me a brief agenda (200 words) listing the topic(s) you'd like to cover.
2) Agree a time, duration and price.
3) I'll go away and have a think.
4) We'll meet online, get into it and solve all your product problems and put the world to rights!
