As a second year university student, I am still learning many new things and I know how it feels to not understand something. Unlike some tutors, I am not a genius. I like to go over the core definitions and over-lying ideas of my students problem. After that is sorted I introduce examples with guidance every step of the way. When a student is struggling I find the best way to help is to visualize what is happening in the math and try my best to make this picture concrete in the students mind.
