About Umar
Competed at the British Physics Olympiad at the Junior level, alongside the British Biology Olympiad whilst at sixth form. Furthermore, I was also ranked in the top 50 regionally in the Ritangle Mathematics Competition at this time in college. Additionally, I can also provide support in the rigorous medical school application specifically with the personal statement and interview preparation in which I have a mass amount of experience on how the assessors examine you, and what they specifically look out for in a medical school interviewee.

Years of tutoring and a unique teaching style have enabled students to improve at an exponential rate whilst creating an easy environment where students are not afraid to make mistakes in the session. With a focus on making difficult concepts more accessible and a mixture of integrating questions with exam-style techniques, my interactive teaching allows students to pinpoint their weak areas and to maximise their potential as much as they can in these, with further emphasis on trying to raise the student's grade by as much as possible by using a 'high yield approach'.
