About Thomas
I am a second year chemical engineering student at the University of Toronto with a 3.92 GPA. I attribute my success to finding enjoyment in what I'm learning, as well as prioritizing my understanding of concepts. I am passionate about math and chemistry, and I can talk to students about useful skills such as time management, note taking, exam preparation and writing.

-I am teaching math and chemistry to students in middle school to high school.
Lesson Structure:
1. Lessons would start with teaching the student the intuition behind a concept
2. Walk them through a simple application of that concept
3. Provide that student a simple/moderate difficulty question that would require them to use that concept.
4. Ask questions to ensure understanding and then walk through a challenging problem
I believe that students will succeed when they understand concepts instead of memorizing how to problems. I will simplify problems into steps and provide students with the intuition required to be successful in math and chemistry concepts.
