About Annie
My name is Annie and I am a Geography teacher at a secondary school in West Yorkshire.
I look forward to supporting, encouraging and helping future students in geography and history. Be assured that my approach is a supportive and caring one, I will be able to adapt to each students needs appropriately.
I look foward totutoring hard-working, dedicated students who are keen to improve their subject knowledge, skills and exam techniques. These are all things that I am teaching and building upon each day in the classroom and will easily be able to do so as a tutor.

My teaching style is informative and reflective meaning I can adapt to the needs of the learner. I am a secondary school teacher based in West Yorkshire who has had experience in teaching from ages 11-18 but mainly specialising in ages 11-16.
My typical lesson can last from 45-60 minutes but I am willing to be flexible.
I am a trained geography teacher with a PGDE (Post-Graduate Diploma in Education). I also have experience teaching history to GCSE level.
I use a range of interactive and independent techniques which I draw from my experience as a classroom teacher.
I have enjoyed good progress with my own GCSE classes over the years and I translate my experience there into tutoring and the needs of the individual student.
