About Ikraan

I am a qualified History teacher in London with over 5 years tutoring experience.

Having privately tutored students throughout my undergrad, I am familiar with various tutoring styles and how to tailor it to the pupil and their needs. I have helped many students excel in their subjects and achieve high grades.

More importantly, I am an understanding and well rounded individual, who recognises the importance of hard-work and time management, key attributes for success.

I have a proven track record when it comes to results and my flexibility enables many pupils to choose me as their tutor as I am able to work around their schedule.

Ultimately, I know what it is like to turn your grades around and exceed expectations. That is why I am now a driven and committed tutor who is willing to go above and beyond to help all pupils reach their highest potential regardless of their starting point.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology heavily incorporates the training and skills that I have gained through my budding teaching career. I recognise that each student learns differently and I use a range of techniques such as the 'think aloud' method and the 'modelling' method to enable students to structure their ideas and thoughts as well as replicate model answers.
Every student receives timely and personalised feedback to help them continuously improve and achieve their highest potential.
