About Rylee
My entire life I have been a creator. I am self taught in most mediums and paint as a hobby now, but I would love to share the knowledge and technique I've acquired throughout the years. I have taken courses at For The Love of Art here in Toledo, Ohio, as well as IB courses at Notre Dame Academy. Through IB, I was able to set up my own exhibit for the school, friends, family, and strangers to see. One of my works was chosen to be displayed in the Toledo Museum of Art's 40th Annual Focus Show and won a Juror's Award. I am currently majoring in Psychology at the University of Toledo and many of my works are inspired by the human psyche and emotion, as well as social justice.

I am open to any level of experience! My approach is flexible, I understand that each individual learns differently from each other, so I can adjust accordingly. My goal is to not only help you learn how to paint in detail with different mediums, but to also understand the creative process, overcoming artist block, and the many ways to convey messages and emotion within our works.

Details
First lessons are a sort of ice breaker, they allow me to better understand my student and their goals, as well as allowing them to see my works and approach to painting. Due to this, I will be offering them for free :). In person pricing accounts for the drive to UT where we can meet and have lessons, as well as the supplies I can bring in case they're needed.
