About Lily
Hi! I’m Lily Lu, a Grade 12 student currently taking AP English Language and Composition. I’ve always loved writing — whether it’s crafting essays, analyzing literature, or helping others find their unique voice through words. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong foundation in reading comprehension, rhetorical analysis, and creative writing, and I’m passionate about making English feel approachable and empowering for students. As someone who’s worked on everything from academic essays to real-world writing like cover letters and professional emails, I focus on helping students build skills they can use both in school and beyond. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored — I meet each student where they are and help them grow confidence in expressing their ideas clearly and authentically. Outside of tutoring, I’m deeply involved in leadership, entrepreneurship, and music, which shape my creative and adaptable teaching style.
