As a tutor, I want to create a safe learning environment that makes things that once felt impossible, possible. Above all, I am here to help you and our sessions will be designed to give you the upmost confidence in tackling difficult academic endeavors. Although I am the tutor, I want you to feel totally in control of your time. When we first meet we will put together a list of overarching goals to periodically reference throughout our time together. At the start and end of each meeting we will also do goal creation on a smaller scale to map out what we will do each session and what should be done between sessions. For example, at the beginning of the session we can make a goal to create a thorough outline for your essay, then another goal to have a first draft completed by the next session that we will edit together. In this way, we can create an ideal learning plan that can be constantly adapted to put you on the right path towards achieving your goals.
