About Ruslan
I'm Ruslan, a software engineer who came into programming through competition. I trained as a competitive programmer, reached the ACM ICPC World Finals - the world championship of programming - and won a Silver Medal. Over the years I solved more than 5,000 algorithmic problems, and later coached a university team that won World Finals gold.
Since then I have spent 15 years building commercial software: machine learning systems, backend services, data pipelines and web automation, with more than 80 projects delivered to real clients.
Today AI tools let anyone build a working prototype in days. But between "works in the demo" and "safe for real users" there is a gap: security holes, fragile databases, code nobody can maintain. Helping people cross that gap is the work I enjoy most. And I know how to teach it: coaching is how I won my second ICPC medal.
I explain complex things calmly and clearly, in plain language.

My lessons are built around one thing: your own project. No abstract exercises. You bring the AI-built application you are working on - made with Lovable, Replit, Bolt, Cursor or Claude Code - and we work on it together.
A typical lesson: you show me what is broken or what worries you (login that breaks, a database anyone can read, payments that fail silently). I show you how to trace the problem to its root cause, we fix it together, and you learn how to prevent the same class of problem next time. You leave each session with working code and a written list of priorities.
What sets me apart: I am an ACM ICPC World Finals Silver Medalist with 15 years of commercial development and more than 80 delivered projects. I also coached a team that won ICPC World Finals gold. Hard debugging is the part of the job I actually enjoy.
The lessons are for founders and beginner developers who built a working prototype with AI tools and now need it to survive real users. No computer science degree required.

Details
The free first session (60 min) is a real working session: we look at your project together, I identify the highest-risk problems in your code, and you get my honest assessment of what needs fixing and in what order. No sales pitch. You leave knowing exactly where your app stands, even if we never work together again.
Regular lessons are focused working sessions on your own codebase: we fix real problems and you learn to prevent them.
Packages (5h / 10h) suit projects that need several areas fixed - authentication, database security, payments, deployment. Most prototypes need 5–10 hours to become launch-ready.
