About Willa
I hold a Bachelor’s in Vocal Performance and a Master’s in Music Education, with 6 years of experience teaching students from beginners to advanced singers. My teaching philosophy blends technical precision with creative exploration, allowing students to develop strong vocal skills while nurturing musical expression and confidence.
In my lessons, I emphasize breath control, tone quality, vocal exercises, phrasing, performance techniques, and interpretation. I provide structured guidance, personalized feedback, and encouragement to help learners progress steadily while enjoying their musical journey. I also focus on building stage confidence, expression, and the ability to connect with audiences emotionally.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with repertoire study, vocal pedagogy research, and performance practice. This enriches my lessons and allows me to bring fresh perspectives into the classroom. Singing lessons flourish when students balance technical skill development with expressive artistry. Lessons integrate exercises, demonstrations, guided practice, and performance feedback to ensure steady progress.
