About Okpara
My name is Okpara Somtochukwu and I am a student of English and Literature in Nnamdi Azikiwe University. I see teaching as a worthy vocation. For me , teaching is a job with a lot of varieties and I also learn while teaching too. I want to inspire the next generation through my pragmatic approach to various topics and I see this vocation as my clear career path.

My primary objective in teaching my student is to create a deep understanding of the topic and build in him/her the confidence to answer exam questions in addition to tackling new and unfamiliar problems. I begin with topics that are familiar with my student and gradually gear towards the more complex ones. I also make do with a lot of illustrations and asks apt questions in between to make sure that I carry my student along.
Finally, I give a lot of pre-eminence to less obvious but paramount skills in the English Language such as essay writing, sentence construction and appropriate word pronunciations.
I take huge pride and self of achievement seeing my students achieve their full potentials.
