About Quimi
For 20 years, I have been helping students of all ages discover the joy of playing piano. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals, providing lessons that are engaging, practical, and tailored to individual needs.
My teaching approach focuses on understanding each student's learning style and creating lessons that make music easy to learn. I believe that steady progress comes from a balance of technique, theory, creativity, and regular practice.
Students in my classes learn essential piano skills such as posture, finger control, scales, chords, rhythm, sight reading, music theory, ear training, and performance techniques. I also teach how to practice efficiently and develop confidence while performing.
Besides piano, I support students in learning keyboard skills, music reading, chord understanding, and basic composition techniques. My goal is to help students become well-rounded musicians rather than simply memorizing songs.
One of my unique strengths is simplifying difficult concepts and making lessons enjoyable. I use practical examples, interactive exercises, and personalized guidance to keep students motivated and engaged. I encourage creativity and help students explore different musical styles according to their interests.
Many students have successfully improved their skills, developed confidence, and achieved their personal music goals through my lessons. I take pride in creating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to learn, grow, and enjoy every step of their musical journey.

I follow a student-centered, creative, and flexible teaching methodology. I believe piano lessons should be motivating, enjoyable, and tailored to each student’s goals and abilities. Through consistent communication, I understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and musical interests, which allows me to design lessons that are engaging, personalized, and inspiring.
Creativity is at the heart of my approach. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose original pieces, and experiment with different musical styles, fostering artistic confidence and a personal musical voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and learning style, creating a positive and productive learning experience.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This integrated methodology develops technical skills, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My goal is to guide students to become confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
