About Rachel
I have 6 years of programming teaching experience with K-12, high school, and college first-year students through online one-to-one live instruction. My Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is from Georgia Institute of Technology. I received the Association for Computing Machinery Educator Recognition Award in 2022. Discovering coding through Minecraft modding at age 13 ignited my tech passion. Previously developing educational apps for schools, I now garden using Arduino sensors, compete in Codewars challenges, restore vintage computers, and mentor girls' coding camps. My rural upbringing without internet taught creative problem-solving I pass to students.
