About Ian

I have been based in Javea, Valencia, Spain, for the past 5 years working for Lindas Language Centre. From here I transferred my Business English Skills into providing Spanish students with rich conversation while developing their listening, reading and writing skills. I have now relocated to the UK where i continue to teach Spanish students online.

About the lesson

I am friendly, patient and understanding of my students needs. My tutoring methology is to create a fun filled hour with lots of topical conversation and to encourage all students to be creative in the use of speaking and writing in English. I use materials from Gold and the British Council to enhance my classes. Corrections during student speaking are made verbally and in writing where after each lesson the student receives class notes outlining any verbal and correctional sentence observations. I am not a grammar teacher but a tutor who specialises in increasing the level of the students vocabulary in the English language.
