About Tobin
With 8 years of professional teaching experience and over 150 successful students, I specialize in teaching flute to learners of all levels. I am committed to helping students build strong musical foundations while developing confidence and performance skills.
My tutoring approach combines structured lesson planning with flexibility. I begin by understanding each student’s level, strengths, and goals. Based on this, I create customized learning plans that include technical exercises, scales, music theory basics, and repertoire practice.

My teaching methodology for flute is based on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I understand that every student learns differently. In flute lessons, I focus on building a strong foundation in breath control, posture, tone production, fingering technique, rhythm, and musical expression. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and basic music notation alongside flute practice to ensure complete musical understanding.
