I have a PhD in Sociology and have been teaching for ten years at both degree and college level. I have been nominated for 'Most inspiring lecturer' several times and my first book, The Posthuman Body in Superhero Comics was published in 2016.

I feel its important to link lessons with the students' lived experiences to make the ideas easily understood. I utilize a mix of reading materials, online videos and discussions as part of my practice.
