About Julia

I hold an Enhanced DBS check on the automatic renewal Update Service. I am a member of The Tutors' Association (TTA), the NASUWT, the National Education Union (NEU), and a registered teacher with the Home School Legal Defence Association (HSLDA). All lessons are recorded, not only for transparency but also so students can revisit them whenever needed. I use Bramble.io for a secure and safe online lessons.

Lessons are to be paid via bank transfer 24 hours prior to the lesson, and a 48-hour cancellation policy applies.

About the lesson

I tailor my teaching to each student, focusing on their needs, and the exams they are preparing for. I focus on developing a thorough understanding of the syllabus and boosting confidence, rather than relying solely on memorisation. Connecting theory to practical application is key, so lessons are interactive and focus on learning by doing. Students retain up to 90% of what they learn when they actively participate and 'learn by doing,' compared to just 30% when they only hear or see the information.
