Hello, my name is Chris! Here are some of my qualifications.

- Have been teaching programming for 8 years now!
- Used to serve as the State Computer Science Educational Development leader for a non-profit. Also helped develop high school Computer Science and Robotics Curriculums.
- Currently work as a Software Engineer at Apple
- Previously worked at Amazon, Boeing, and as a Machine Learning Scientist at Actionable.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Cal Poly SLO. Also took lots of extra Math, Physics, and Linguistics courses.
- Got an A in every CS course I've ever taken! From introductory data structures and algorithms, all the way up to graduate level machine learning and computational geometry.
- Published researcher in the fields of data structures, algorithms, robotics, machine learning, and cybersecurity/hacking.

About the lesson

I have taught computer science concepts to people from all levels and walks of life.
From 5-year-olds who barely know their times tables, to college students who are in introductory or even higher level CS classes, and even to published researchers and senior engineers.

Chris helped me go from a D to an A in data structures!

As a first year CS major, it is really easy to feel like you're behind. Asking questions in class can be very scary. Working with Chris didn't feel like that though. He creates a good environment for you to ask any questions you have and builds up his explanations from super basic examples! My lessons with him really helped me both pass my CS class and gain more confidence in my skills.
