About Leesa
I am a learner myself. I understand that we don't all learn the same way. In fact, I learn in a completely different way than I was taught in schools or on courses. I am an auditory learner so listening to podcasts was my thing. I've created many a podcast on various topics!
As a career changer, I am well aware how daunting it can be to choose your future and to sign up to years of studying a topic you don't know is right for you. I assist students and colleagues to find their strengths and build on them, helping them find what they love to do and can progress with.
I can help students find the study method that works for them and boost their confidence to find their passion.

Hi, I'm Leesa. I am a graduate, an ex ACCA accountant now working as a Software Engineer. Going through many years of studying, I have tried and tested a multitude of study styles so I understand the student mindset, what study techniques work, what doesn't work as well and what works best for different people. For example: as an auditory learner, visual flashcards were rarely useful for me, so instead I would record mini podcasts talking about a subject to listen to whilst I am going about my day.
I am a patient tutor who works with my students to overcome obstacles and difficulties, whether that's more advanced questions or improving their confidence in a subject. I am always excited to see the progress of my students.
