About Alexandra

Hi! I’m Alex, a passionate teacher, language enthusiast, and your future Russian tutor!

I graduated from the University of Warsaw with a degree in Applied Linguistics (Language teaching major) and have been teaching Russian, Polish and English both in schools and online for several years. I believe learning a language should feel exciting, empowering, and completely tailored to you!

I’m fluent in Russian, Polish, and English, currently learning French, and planning to dive into German soon! Since I’ve been on both sides of language learning, I know how to make the process fun, practical, and stress-free. Whether you’re starting from scratch or aiming to perfect your skills, I’ll guide you every step of the way with engaging lessons you’ll actually enjoy :)
Russian is my native language—I’ve spoken it since I was born, so I’m able to offer you an authentic learning experience with insights that go beyond just textbook knowledge.

When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me planning my next trip, reading a good book or trying to keep up with my ever-expanding Letterboxd watchlist. I love discovering stories, cultures, and perspectives from around the world, and that same curiosity inspires my passion for languages and teaching.

About the lesson

I believe learning Russian should be as fun as it is effective! In my lessons, we skip the boring drills and dive into real conversations from the start. I personalise every lesson to fit your needs, whether you're a beginner or looking to take your skills to the next level.

What makes my lessons different?

- Practical Conversations: We’ll practice everyday language you’ll use in real situations, from cafes to casual talks with locals.

- Simple, Memorable Grammar: I’ll break down tricky grammar into easy chunks for you, with practical examples that are easy to remember and use.

- Culture Touch: Ever wondered how Russians really speak? You’ll learn idioms, slang, and cultural quirks that textbooks miss, which will give you a deeper understanding of the language.

- Fun for all ages: I love teaching kids as much as adults! My youngest student is just 4 years old, and I’ve learned how to make even the youngest learners excited about Russian.
