I am from New York City. Special education is so important to me because I grew up with a sister with special needs. I saw the difference in general and special education programs and wanted to make a change. I currently teach in a special education program focusing in science, phonics and reading.

I love teaching children with whatever method works best for them. I use the beginning of sessions to build a relationship and complete a profile of the student. I believe children don't learn from people they do not like or trust. I love games and making learning enjoyable for all students. I love celebrating even the smallest victories :)
