About Wilkie
I hated basketball growing up, never cared for it. As I got older my friends played more and more. Most of the time I sat and watched, uninterested.
One day, after everyone had left, a basketball was sitting on the court. I picked it up and made a deal with myself: I couldn't leave until I made five shots in a row from the left elbow. It took 45 minutes, but when I finally did, something clicked. From that moment, I was hooked.
My experience is that basketball is not just a sport but a pathway to building who you are.
A good basketball player requires patience, focus and determination, which are skills needed throughout life. A great basketball player requires self-awareness, the ability to understand and accept shortcomings. Then working hard to strengthen them.
Basketball has given me confidence, built strong relationships and more. Coaching has given me the opportunity to share this experience with others.

Developing basketball skills and IQ through positivity, hard work, and passion. Success is built through identifying and developing weaknesses while continuing to build upon strengths.
To create an effective development pathway, each athlete is assessed across:
• Physical ability
• Basketball skills
• Basketball IQ
Every athlete requires an individualized approach, with session structure and duration tailored to their age, experience, and physical requirements.
(Currently accepting athletes born in 2017 or earlier. Previous basketball experience is preferred.)
