About Camilla
Hi, I'm Camilla! I am a sophomore at Duke pursuing a double major in Statistics and Public Policy. I love math now, but that hasn't always been the case for me. I understand that math can be a challenging and frustrating topic––because I've felt that way before too––but I want to help students break it down, so they too can learn to love (or at least not hate) math!

Throughout my academic career, I have taken many math classes, from pre-algebra to Calculus, and not all of them have been a breeze. I know what it's like to be a middle or high-school student needing help with math, and I want to be the person giving you the skills to learn successfully.
To create the most effective learning, I prioritize teaching why things work, not just memorization. This helps students build skills and understanding in the long-term, which is especially important in a cumulative subject like math.
