I am a native Japanese teacher who loves helping students build confidence and enjoy using Japanese in their everyday lives ️. Over the years, I have worked with learners of different ages, levels, and goals—from complete beginners and children to students preparing for the JLPT or looking to improve their conversation skills.

My teaching style is structured but flexible. I believe learning works best when students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and practicing Japanese in a supportive environment. My goal is not only to teach grammar and vocabulary but also to help students communicate naturally ️ and understand the culture and nuances behind the language .

Outside of teaching, I enjoy learning about different cultures, languages, history, art, and philosophy and I enjoy bringing those real-life experiences into my lessons.

That’s what I aim to help my students do

My lessons are flexible and adjusted to your level, goals, and learning pace. In every lesson, I introduce something new while also naturally reviewing older grammar and vocabulary so learning feels steady and easier to remember.

Lessons usually start with 10–15 minutes of casual conversation practice with support. We talk about daily life, recent events, hobbies, weekend plans, and more.

As you learn new grammar and vocabulary, I gradually include them in our conversations so you can practice using them naturally and gain confidence speaking Japanese.

If you struggle to make sentences or don’t know certain words, I’ll help by giving hints, sentence structure support, and natural expressions used in real Japanese conversations.

You’ll also learn filler words, slang, and small nuances that are often not taught in textbooks.

After conversation practice, we move into grammar study.

Every few lessons, we focus on new grammar points and practice using them through speaking, reading, listening, and making your own example sentences.

I focus on helping you actually use grammar naturally instead of only memorizing rules.

At the end of each lesson, I always make time for questions or anything you want to review.
