About Dick
Calculation and visualization are the primary tools I bring to every board. To be honest, I sometimes find that players focus too much on tactics while ignoring pawn structures and endgame technique.
My 3 years of teaching have taught me that positional understanding is often the missing piece in a competitive mindset. I have mentored 96 students, moving them from basic opening principles to complex tournament preparation. I enjoy analyzing how specific styles of attacking play define a player.
