About Emma Louise
I am Emma Louise Parker, a programming tutor with 8 years of experience teaching students from K-12 to college levels in the USA. I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
I’ve been awarded the “Code Mastery Medal” and the “Innovative Developer Award” for my ability to make programming easy and exciting. I challenge my students to code in a structured yet creative way.
Outside teaching, I enjoy playing video games, reading science fiction, and exploring new technologies. As a Tutor, students and their parents' feedback is important for us, and I am always eager to adjust my lessons to help you succeed!

In my programming lessons, I expect discipline and dedication from my students, but I also ensure the learning process is fun and rewarding. We begin by mastering basic concepts such as variables, loops, and conditional statements, before moving on to more complex topics like data structures, algorithms, and web development.
I design lessons with a focus on practical, hands-on projects. Students will work on building websites, apps, and basic AI systems to apply what they’ve learned in a real-world context. While we aim for high standards, we will make sure that the coding process is fun, rewarding, and filled with problem-solving challenges!
I believe that the best way to learn programming is through practice, and I give students plenty of coding exercises to strengthen their skills. Exam Practices are provided to ensure you're ready for coding challenges and technical interviews. Together, we’ll make coding something you enjoy mastering!
