About Doris
Spending 13 years as a quant in renewable energy gave me an obsession with quantitative precision. Do you find that your current grasp of statistics and probability feels shaky when you attempt higher level problems? My teaching style focuses on deep arithmetic and number sense that bridges the gap between basic algebra and advanced calculus. Vedic math techniques serve as a backbone for my instruction during homework sessions.
I hold an MS from UC Berkeley. Working with 91 students has shown me how common gaps in logic often start at the primary school level.
