About SALEM
My name is Salem [they/he], 18 and I am an LGBTQ+, neurodivergent student studying an English Literature degree at Edge Hill University, I’m looking to tutor as I have a passion for my study and nothing brings me more joy than helping others in their studies; I also believe I would be a good tutor for those who do not do well in school settings due to things such as anxiety or ASD, as, as a person with disorders such as these I find classroom settings to be difficult and studying outside of them is where I feel more comfortable and therefore get better results and I’d love that for others too if they need it

My tutoring sessions can last anywhere between 30 minutes to three hours, I also offer shorter, more affordable sessions and rates if you’re just wanting material to use alone without any extra tutoring, depending on what it is that you want my rates go from £20-£80 [this will be discussed in length and I’m willing to change prices for those who need it!]

I have a big focus on accessibility; as a person with accessibility needs I understand how important they can be! Which is why I offer a range of tutoring formats such as text heavy sessions rather than on call, more frequent breaks and a range of other tools for those who need them [more information can be given upon inquiry.]

I believe it’s also important to gage what you are working towards in order to see progress which is why I like to have a chat about what it is you’re looking to achieve [a passing grade, top marks, essay writing skills etc]

The way I structure learning is through casual interactions as I found a lot of individuals learn better in settings that do not feel overly official; we will discuss what it is you want to cover and upon learning this I will compile learning material catered to you which will we will go over at your pace and upon being sure you understand it you shall be tested a form which you feel fits best [written test, quiz questions, more provided upon inquiry
