About Alfred
I am a student of History at the University of Plymouth and so History is a subject deeply rooted in my brain. Given I am a current student I did A-levels and GCSEs recently so I understand what you as a student and parents are going through. It is stressful especially when universities require a grade you aren't meeting yet. Hopefully that is something I can change for you or your student.

A calm and understanding approach to how the student learns themselves is what I go for. As someone who was in their shoes not too long ago I know what works and what doesn't with up-to-date exams and tests while also taking into account that not every student learns the same way. By understanding how the student prefers to learn I will be able to guide lessons to how they would like it and what works best for them. I recently completed my A-levels and GCSEs so I know what the exams look like and require. With simple 1-hour sessions once or twice a week, depending on what the student prefers, preparing them for the exam is my ultimate goal.
