About Mya

My name is Mya and I'm a year 13 sixth form student! My future aspirations and plans aren't completely decided yet but as of right now, I'd like to work in a clinical setting as a therapist/psychologist. I myself have endured difficult clinical conditions, the main one being OCD. I'm also diagnosed with mild autism and ADHD which, I believe, makes me a much more understanding and empathetic person. However, my teaching will fit well with anyone as well as people with ADHD and autism.
I love to teach and help people understand new things so tutoring is something that greatly interests me!

About the lesson

My tutoring will be coming from a current sociology student (me!) which means I have all the tips and tricks to achieving sociological success! Not only will I be able to help with the subject itself, but I can also help with handling the stress of exams and upcoming changes (e.g. moving from year 11 to sixth form or college) as I have done all of it myself. My approach to teaching and tutoring is being understanding and ensuring all my tutees are being taught the best way possible for THEM.
