About Amelia
Hi, I am Amelia! I’m in my second year at Oxford University studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics. I really enjoy tutoring because I find it so rewarding to help you discover what you’re interested in (even when you don’t know it yet). I can help with university applications (Oxbridge or otherwise), English Lit and Lang GCSE, Maths GCSE and Politics A Level. Aside from my studies, I enjoy reading, fashion, cooking and playing netball. Looking forward to meeting you!

I always try to gauge where the student is at with a certain topic or subject by asking them questions. I will always first try to make sure they are comfortable with the basics before finding an avenue which they enjoy themselves! This gives me the opportunity to learn from them so I can help them motivate themselves through independent learning outside the tutorial. Every student is different and my teaching style reflects that!
My tutorials are normally around 1 hour but can do more or less depending on the needs of the student.
