About Alexia
I am a 2nd year student in Sociology and Politics at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. I am French but was born in New York and have lived in England, Scotland and Hong Kong. I am a lively and enthusiastic person, and am passionate about teaching in a fun and interactive way. I love interacting with children and adults alike. I have a neutral accent in both French and English and study mathematics (specifically Calculus and Algebra) at university alongside my main subjects (Sociology and politics). For my International Baccalaureate I studied French A, English Literature and Language, Geography, History, Physics and Maths Applications and Interpretations.

My lessons last 1hr each.
Language lessons will focus on colloquial communication skills and practicing proper pronunciation. Lessons will also cover reading (this can range from easy tests to classical literature depending on the student's level) and writing (this can range from simple spelling to writing essays depending on the student's level). Math or sociology lessons will focus more on the content the student would like to focus on or review alongside their classes.
I teach students of all ages (children and adults). I have experience tutoring children from ages 4 to 12 in French and English and in aiding with homework in other subjects.
