About Cort
I have had experience teaching portuguese to Americans as well as teaching English to Brazilians. I pride myself on my ability to break down grammatical concepts into simple terms and relate them to knowledge that students may already have. I also try and keep lessons fun and even teach slang so that the student can get an even deeper understanding of how Brazilians really speak.

My name is Cort and I recently got back from living in Brazil where I was able to live with and learn from many Brazilians. I learned a lot about the culture of Brazil and even more about the Portuguese language. My lessons will be focused on helping students get to a point of conversational fluency where they can express abstract thoughts and concepts and understand the grammar behind what they say.
