About Allie
Despite my interest in science, I attended an arts school for high school. I participated in orchestra, playing the violin, and in theatre. I believe my arts background has given me unique advantage as I have entered a more STEM-based school. I've been able to apply my creativity and passion for arts to my work in STEM to gain new perspectives and to learn things in different ways.

Math and science follow constant, logical processes. When trying to teach these processes to students, I like to break down everything into simple, easy to understands steps. Once a basic understanding of the process and its steps are grasped, I like to explore why it works and where it came from. This helps students solidify the knowledge and apply it to other areas.
