About Robin
I started percussion at 5 years old; drums, piano and guitar when I was 7, then I went to the conservatory. I first followed a classical course at the Ville d'Avray conservatory when I was 10 years old. Then at 15 years old at the conservatory of Versailles (flexible music schedules). After the BAC, I went to the conservatory of Douai, where I started writing and studying jazz. I have a French diploma in classical percussion (DEM) and certificate in solfège and chamber music. I am now at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in jazz drums. I give lessons for the little ones (musical awakening), beginners and the most advanced.

When it comes to a beginner, the desire to learn must be transmitted to the student. The teacher is a guide and must bring about a dialogue with the student. He must be demanding but attentive according to the particularity and needs of each. The teacher has to open doors for a while and another to make them open. The process remains more or less the same during learning, so that the pupil gains more and more autonomy. You have to learn to learn. Having completed a course in classical music, I give the good technical tools that my teachers and especially professional musicians (Paris opera) have given me. The goal of learning music is to open your mind, to have a different outlook on things, and above all to have fun, in interaction with others.
