I have tutored for two years in the past helping students prepare for standardized tests, tests, or just help them catch up in class. Regardless of why the student is struggling as long as they show determination in working with me I will help them improve in their math skills.

My lessons are built based on the student and their needs. However I always try to make my lessons more interactive so the student learns by doing it themselves. I have done brief lessons on the topic before moving on to practice problems and worksheets but if the student has problems or examples we can jump right in and allow them to learn more hands-on. I use a placement test to see we’re the students problem ares are and that will be our first session and from there we can start to work on the areas that they have the most difficulty with.
