About Laurie

I am a recently finished A-level student, who ended up with no qualified teacher for year 13 Psychology. Both my parents and I stressed over the impact this would have on my grade, so I took responsibility and worked my socks off to achieve an A*. I understand the stresses, pressures, and demands of both GCSE and A level, and so would like to put the work of those years to good use by guiding GCSE students through the same process in my subject specialties to ensure they get the grades they deserve.

About the lesson

Hi there, I'm Laurie! I own an online GCSE Biology and Chemistry tutoring community, where I teach students the techniques I used to get grade 9s in GCSE Biology and Chemistry, and A*A*A in A level Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry. When you join the community you not only get access to weekly calls with myself to deepen your understanding of your GCSE (like you would for other GCSE tutors), but also the chance to communicate with other members for extra assistance or to harness a sense of community - all striving for your best possible grades! You can also purchase an extra call or direct messaging with me for my help e.g. if you're stuck on an exam question, and purchase the exact revision materials that I made for GCSE Biology and Chemistry. Not only that, but also get access to youtube-like tutorial videos tailored to your needs for any topic that you're particularly struggling with, as well as the ability to make recommendations to me for what other resources you'd find helpful during your time in GCSE which I can post on the community for your access any time you need, as well as more additions to come in the future... I am a friendly and driven young man who just recently finished his A-levels, so I am able to relate to the students on a deeper level to most tutors and I am more understanding of the issues that students face during their time at GCSE, whilst still having tutoring experience with underprivileged children in Tanzania, peers at GCSE and A level, and am currently tutoring a student GCSE AQA Biology. I look forward to seeing you on the other side :)
