About Philip
I am a well-liked and highly-acclaimed primary school teacher. I love working with children whatever their needs, aims, likes or motivations; in fact, building that rapport with a child is the first thing I seek to do; once this is in place, the foundations are there to build a flourishing learning journey. I can teach any subject in the primary curriculum. If you wish to be pushed and extended - I can do it. If you have the need to catch up - I can do it. With over 13 years of experience teaching in primary schools in England and France, I bring a dynamic and engaging approach to tutoring that combines expertise with creativity. My online lessons are interactive and carefully structured to capture children’s attention while developing essential skills. Whether we are exploring literacy, numeracy, or broader cross-curricular topics, I design thought-provoking activities that are both fun and meaningful. My students benefit from clear, constructive feedback, which helps them build confidence and see tangible progress. I am known for my warm, caring, and approachable personality, which allows me to create a supportive learning environment where children feel safe to make mistakes, share ideas, and grow as learners.
